| DAY 1 | Departure
from Bucharest to Sibiu. Arrival and
check-in at hotel. Walking city tour visiting Council Tower, Small
Square, Evangelical Church, Orthodox Cathedral and Liar’s Bridge.
Dinner & overnight.

| DAY 2 | Morning
visit to Brukental Museum – the oldest museum in Romania (1817).
In the afternoon, trip to Carta (one of the most important monasteries
built by the Cistercian monks in South Eastern Europe; early Gothic
style with Romanesque elements), Sambata de Sus Monastery and
Fagaras medieval stronghold and castle
(at the time it houses Fagaras County Museum). Dinner & overnight
in Sibiu. |

| DAY 3 | Departure to Sibiel, visit of Village Museum (open air Museum). Afternoon trip to Hunedoara to visit Corvinesti Castle – the most important monument of Gothic lay architecture in Transylvania (14thc.) and Densus Church – built in 12th-13th c. of stones taken from the ruins of the ancient citadel of Sarmizegetusa. Dinner and overnight in Sibiu. | |
| DAY 4 | Departure
to Cluj Napoca. Check-in at hotel. City
tour including Banffy Palace, St.Michael’s Roman Catholic Church,
Mathias Corvinus Birthplace (the oldest house in Cluj), Town Hall.
Afternoon at leisure. Dinner & overnight. |

| DAY 5 | Departure
to Targu Mures. Short city tour visiting
the cathedral and the medieval fortress (15thc.). Continue to
Biertan - peasant fortified church
(15th c.) belonging to Unesco’s world heritage. Arrival in Sighisoara.
Check-in at hotel, dinner & overnight . |

| DAY 6 | Morning
city tour including Medieval Street, Clock Tower, Venetian House,
Dracula’s Birthplace, Covered Staircase, Tailor’s Tower, Hill
Church. You will discover the atmosphere of this lively European
medieval town whose old edifices are still functional and well
preserved. In the afternoon, departure to Bran area .

| DAY 7 | Morning walking tour of Brasov with visits of the City Hall, Black Church, St.Catherine’s Gate, Weaver’s Bastion. Afternoon trip to Bran Castle – Gothic style (14th c). Back to Brasov via Poiana Brasov. Stop for Romanian traditional dinner at Outlaw’s Hut. Overnight in Bran area. | |
| DAY 8 | In the morning trip to Viscri (the village recently visited by Prince Charles of England for its attractive stronghold), Prejmer (stronghold built by the Teutonic knights ) and Harman ( Saxon fortress). Departure to Bucharest. | |
